Buen Vivir: Redefining Wealth and Happiness

This month's briefing paper focuses on the concept of buen vivir, "living well." Incorporated into the Bolivian and Ecuadorean Constitutions, buen vivir is founded on the principle of respect for all living things. It strives to achieve balance and harmony through social community and congruous relationships among all living things. Read "Buen Virir: Redefining Wealth and Happiness" to learn more about the concept and the need for U.S. society to make use of it.
