Center of Concern Celebrates 43rd Anniversary of Sharing Your Voice for Global Social Justice

Since its founding on May 4, 1971, by Bishop (later Cardinal) Joseph Bernardin, General Secretary of the former National Conference of Catholic Bishops; and Pedro Arrupe, S.J., Superior General of the Society of Jesus, the Center has worked to create a world that upholds basic human rights and human dignity for all. Today, team members uphold the Center's early goals of sharing your voice for global social justice (TM ) by researching, educating, and advocating from Catholic social tradition to create a world where economic, political, and cultural systems promote sustainable flourishing of the global community.
