US Administration urged to improve coherence of trade, financial regulation agendas

Rethinking Bretton Woods | Thu, Mar 28, 2013

On a letter to President Obama, Center of Concern and other US-based organizations made demands for greater consistency between the policies the Administration is pursuing in the interest of global financial stability, and rules it seeks to introduce in free trade agreements. The letter called for U.S. trade and investment policies to support developing countries’ ability to implement policy tools needed to prevent crises.
