Human Rights in International Economic Policy

Being human rights a central pillar of Catholic Social Teaching analysis that is at the heart of the mission of the Center of Concern, human Rights are behind all the work of the Center of Concern and RBW.

This focus area comprises RBW's specific efforts to promote international economic policies that are consistent with human rights values and international human rights law. RBW has provided consistently a critical analysis of international economic policies from a human rights perspective. It plays a key role in civil society efforts to make international financial institutions, trade and investment policies and agreements, accountable to the international human rights framework. To that end, it helps build capacity and coalitions to provide a strategic response.
