Rethinking Bretton Woods | Wed, Sep 14, 2011

The International Working Group on Trade-Finance Linkages, the Heinrich Boell Foundation, CAFOD, International Cooperation for Development and Solidarity network (CIDSE) and Center for International Governance Innovation convene a Roundtable "The G20's Development Action Plan: Which Way Next?"

In November 2011 at the G20 Summit in Cannes, France, the G20 leaders are expected to streamline, prioritize and assess progress on their development agenda.

This agenda, conceived of at the June 2010 Toronto summit, was launched as “Seoul Development Consensus for Shared Growth” and Multi-year Development Action Plan (DAP) -- at their November 2010 Seoul Summit. On the eve of the G20 Development and Finance ministers meeting in Washington DC, this Roundtable discussion will be a unique opportunity to share information about the DAP and assess its prospects for success.
