“Doing Business”… as usual? World Bank flagship report needs to change

A new issue of the World Bank’s Doing Business Report has just come out. It all indicates that the team responsible for the report has decided to ignore the deep reforms recommended last year by an Independent Panel appointed by the World Bank President, Mr. Jim Kim.

Read the letter Center of Concern and several other organizations sent to President of the World Bank expressing their surprise and disappointment at the lack of implementation of those recommendations in the methodological changes that will be put in place in the 2015 and 2016 editions of the report.
