On January 15, 2017, the Catholic Church observes the 103rd World Day of Migrants and Refugees. This year, Pope Francis focuses on refugee children, who are often unaccompanied, vulnerable, and voiceless. Integral Voice Monsignor Robert J. Vitillo, Secretary General of International Catholic Migration Commission based in Geneva, Switzerland, offers his thoughts on the reactions to Laudato Si and the crying need to promote civil and political love for migrants and refugees in our world today.
