Developing country issues in transfer pricing, focus of RBW-cosponsored meeting (June 2011)

On June 7-8, 2011, Center of Concern co-sponsored a meeting called Informal Discussion on "Practical Transfer Pricing Issues for Developing Countries. Among others, the meetings were attended by delegates from UN Missions, officials from tax authorities of developing countries, experts and practitioners. Other sponsors of the event were FES New York Office, UN-DESA Financing for Development Office and Christian Aid.

Among others, the meetings were attended by delegates from UN Missions, officials from tax authorities of developing countries, experts and practitioners. Other sponsors of the event were FES New York Office, UN-DESA Financing for Development Office and Christian Aid.

This two-day conference on international tax cooperation began with a half-day of general panels on the "Role of the UN in International Tax Cooperation and the Impact of Transfer Pricing on Development."  During the remaining one and a half days, tax experts worked on the UN Tax Committee's "Practical Manual of Transfer Pricing for Developing Countries."
