On February 20, 2009, Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems , in conjunction with the University of Iowa Center for International Finance and Development , the International Law Society , University of Iowa International Program and College of Law International Programs hosted the symposium "Global Meltdown: Examining the Worst Global Financial and Economic Crisis Since the Great Depression."
The Rethinking Bretton Woods Project Director spoke at the Seminar presenting the paper "Assessing Global Regulatory Impacts of the U.S. Subprime Mortgage Meltdown: International Banking Supervision and the Regulation of Credit Rating Agencies."
