Birmingham Conference on Debt features RBW paper (May 2008)

At a conference on debt relief held in Birmingham, a paper by Aldo Caliari, "The Debt Sustainability Framework: How the Bretton Woods Institutions managed to Subvert the Human Development Grounds for Debt Relief" , was presented.

The Conference "AIDING THE POOREST: TEN YEARS ON FROM THE BIRMINGHAM G8 What’s been achieved? What agenda for the G8 to 2018?", sponsored by the University of Birmingham, was held in that city on May 16-17. The conference was the University’s contribution to the city’s weekend of activities celebrating achievements since the Birmingham G8 and highlighting the further challenges that have arisen. 
A paper "The Debt Sustainability Framework: How the Bretton Woods Institutions managed to Subvert the Human Development Grounds for Debt Relief", by Aldo Caliari, was presented. Neil Watkins, National Coordinator of the Jubilee USA coalition, made the presentation.
