What better day than Earth Day to celebrate our energy savings? The Center of Concern is proud to share news of its environmental stewardship. We procure our energy through Washington Gas Energy Services' Green-e Energy, a certified wind power source from regional wind farms. Wind power is the world's fastest growing energy resource. When wind power replaces traditional sources, it reduces carbon dioxide, lowers carbon footprints, and helps eliminate air pollution problems such as smog and acid rain. The Center's results on wind power equal savings equivalent to taking five cars off the road for a year. Celebrate the Earth, today, and everyday.
