A Moving Journey for Justice

From here ...
... to here (for now)!

The team at Center of Concern is pleased to announce that we are moving to new space in downtown Washington, D.C., to be closer to our peer institutions and to continue our mission as a convener of voices from public and private centers of influence.

We have sold our legacy building in Brookland, near The Catholic University of America. The new owner is The District Church, "a Christ-centered, neighbor-loving, justice-seeking community for transplants, natives, and beyond, walking alongside those who are on the outskirts of society in particular." They will use their new building for worship space, offices, recovery support and counseling, and residences for leadership training.

We are grateful that the legacy of faith-influenced good works will continue at 1225 Otis Street, N.E., and we extend our best wishes for The District Church's success.

Center of Concern is currently occupying temporary space downtown, near the White House, while we build out our new offices nearby.

However, some things never change: We are delighted to be representing you, our members and supporters, by sharing your voice for global social justice - now, from the heart of our nation's capital. Let's stay in touch!
