International Women’s Day

Every year, on March 8th, we celebrate International Women’s Day. We use this day to celebrate the achievements of women as well as to highlight some of the challenges women face. It serves as an opportune times to get women’s interests on the agenda of our families, communities and governments alike. Thousands of women’s groups around the world plan activities, lobby, and educate to commemorate this day.
