Every year, on March 8th, we celebrate International Women’s Day. We use this day to celebrate the achievements of women as well as to highlight some of the challenges women face. It serves as an opportune times to get women’s interests on the agenda of our families, communities and governments alike. Thousands of women’s groups around the world plan activities, lobby, and educate to commemorate this day.

Under Catholic Charities leadership, this campaign is focused on getting the concerns of people in poverty into the campaign debates. Check below to see how you can take an active part.

The Convention for the Common Good, brought over 800 Catholics and faith leaders from across the nation together in Philadelphia this summer to engage with elected officials and develop a Platform for the Common Good.
